Introducing TEA/PAS,™ infusing the elegance and structure of the traditional English Tea with the exuberant colors and international flavors of Tapas.
Deeded Oakside by Edward Searles, the property was originally a part of his great estate. In later years, Searles’ desire for privacy prompted him to move East Street, detaching and creating a small, secluded oasis surrounded by the great granite wall.
Once called “The Pepsi-Cola House,” the original California-style ranch was built in 1954 by Florence Robertson, local philanthropist and owner of Methuen’s Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company. Twenty years of renovations to the home, combined with careful additions to the estate’s original plantings have created the contemporary interpretation of the Searles vision that you'll experience while viewing and tasting the pleasures of Oakside.
